Trending | Corset Front & Holes

Hi everyone!

Today we are talking about trending details – the corset front top the distressed/hole-y top.

I personally like the distressing when kept somewhat edited.

I don’t really find myself reaching for shirts covered in LOTS of holes but I do think when placed tactfully they lend a bit of edge to an outfit that I enjoy.

This super cute and comfy T-shirt dress from Tobi
is a great way to sport both trends at an affordable price… and this one in particular is SO soft!

Added Bonus: The lace up detail on front is also conveniently placed for disguising my postpartum belly that’s still working its way back in place while adding definition to the waist =)  That’s a huge plus in my book!

It’s such a great staple piece and easy to amp up with a stack of bracelets or layered necklaces (or all of the above like I did here).

These Argento Vivo necklaces have become a favorite for layering and I have several different styles in silver & gold.

I paired it here with mules, but you can easily keep it even more causal with classic white sneakers or  you could  pair it with metallic heels for a night out. I also plan on sporting this with over the knee boots and a long cardigan going into fall.

Here are a few more tops that I like if you want to try the trends in a different way:

What are your thoughts on distressed tops and the corset front?

For some reason, I thought that the lace up front would be unflattering with a bit of tummy, but I find it to be quite the opposite and I will be trying more items along those lines!

Have a great weekend!

XO, Dorea
